For boat owners
Your connected boat.
Check your boat while you’re away, see your instruments while you sail, and look back at the trip afterwards. Mervare reads the equipment already on board and puts it on your phone.
Check your boat while you're away
Batteries, shore power, the cabin and the bilge — from your phone, wherever you are, with an email or Telegram message when something needs you.
Batteries, shore power and solar
Voltage, state of charge, whether shore power is connected and what the panels are producing.
Needs A Victron system read through a Cerbo GX.
Cabin climate and bilge
Temperature and humidity below, and the bilge level, where sensors for them are fitted.
Needs Temperature, humidity or bilge sensors connected to the boat's system.
Alerts that find you
Low battery, high bilge, a boat that has stopped reporting, and anchor drift — by email, or Telegram if you turn it on. You set the thresholds.
Needs The readings the alert depends on; offline alerts need nothing extra.
See your instruments while you sail
Wind, heading, speed, depth and position on one screen, on the phone already in your pocket.
Wind, heading, speed and depth
Apparent and true wind, heading, speed through the water and over the ground, and depth under the keel.
Needs An NMEA 2000 network, read through a Yacht Devices Wi-Fi gateway or the Cerbo GX.
Position and anchor watch
Where the boat is, and an anchor alarm with a radius or a drawn area.
Needs A GPS position on the boat's network.
Heel and depth warnings
Alerts for heel beyond your limit and depth below yours.
Needs Attitude and depth data on the boat's network.
Look back at the trip afterwards
History for the last hour, day, week or month, the track you sailed and how the boat performed.
History
1 hour, 6 hours, 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days or a custom range, for every reading the boat sends.
Needs Nothing beyond the readings themselves.
Tracks and polars
The GPS track of a passage and a polar view of boat speed against true wind angle.
Needs Position, wind and speed data.
Gaps filled in
When the boat loses its connection, readings are kept on board and sent when it comes back, with their original times.
Needs Storage on the device running the Mervare bridge.

A read-only illustration of the dashboard layout. It has no controls and no connection to any boat. What a real dashboard shows depends on the equipment on board.
On real boats
Moi and Vaiana are two boats at Hara already connected to Mervare. Checked on 6 October 2026:
Moi · Hara
Reports to Mervare through a Victron Cerbo GX; it was sending regularly on 6 October 2026.
Vaiana · Hara
Reports to Mervare through a Victron Cerbo GX; it was sending regularly on 6 October 2026.
Their dashboards stay private. Screenshots and recordings from Moi and Vaiana appear here once their owners have approved them; until then, the dashboard below is a simulation.
What your boat needs
Something on board to read the boat
The Mervare bridge runs on a Victron Cerbo GX, on a Raspberry Pi, or as a Home Assistant add-on.
Data sources
Victron equipment through the Cerbo GX, and NMEA 2000 instruments through a Yacht Devices Wi-Fi gateway. What you see depends on what your boat already measures — Mervare adds no sensors of its own.
An internet connection on board
Marina Wi-Fi or a mobile router. Without one, readings wait on board until the connection returns.
Who can see it
- Your boat's dashboard is not public. You and any co-owners see it, and so does the harbour master of the harbour your boat is registered at.
- You can share it with crew or family behind a PIN.
- Nothing appears on a public map unless you choose to show your boat's status there.
Monitoring helps you notice things sooner. It does not make a boat safe and is not a substitute for checking on it, or for proper navigation and seamanship.
Connect your boat
Create a Mervare account as a boat owner, then add your boat and choose how it connects: Victron Cerbo GX, a Yacht Devices NMEA 2000 gateway, both, or a boat page with no hardware at all.
Self-service boat registration is available in Estonia today. Elsewhere, write to us and we will help you set up — tell us your boat, your home harbour and what is on board.
